The 2026 Las Cruces UkeFest is scheduled for May 29–31, 2026, at New Mexico State University (NMSU) in Las Cruces, NM. The festival, themed "Strumming Without Boundaries," is New Mexico's only dedicated ukulele festival and features a mix of professional performances, skill-building workshops, and community jam sessions.

The festival offers a structured weekend for players of all levels:

The 2026 lineup features four teaching artists for workshops and the Friday concert: Stu Fuchs, Amy Kucharik, Victoria “Viggy” Kolasinski, and Sho Humphries.

Full registration, covering workshops, the Friday concert, and Saturday lunch, is available, with Early Bird pricing ($195) through March 31, 2026, and regular pricing ($225) thereafter. A $125 student rate is offered, and Friday-only concert tickets are $10 at the door.

2026 Schedule Highlights

•Friday Concert: Atkinson Recital Hall in the NMSU Music Building.

•Workshops & Activities: Third floor of the Corbett Center Student Union at NMSU.

•Friday, May 29: Registration begins at 6:00 PM, followed by the Public Concert at 7:00 PM.

•Saturday, May 30: Marketplace and Swap Meet open at 8:30 AM. Workshops run throughout the day with a catered buffet lunch and open mic sessions starting at 11:40 AM.

•Sunday, May 31: Workshops begin at 9:30 AM, followed by prize drawings and a group photo. The event concludes with "Gospel According to Uke" at 12:30 PM.
