The 43rd Annual Westminster Road Runners Main Street Mile is scheduled for Wednesday, April 8, 2026, in Westminster, MD. This downhill one-mile run is known for its fast course, featuring a 144-foot vertical drop from start to finish.

The event consists of two primary heats starting at 7:00 PM SHARP:

Participant Rewards

•Heat 1 (Timed Run): Officially timed and scored using bib chips. Recommended for participants age 11+ who can run a 10-minute mile or faster.

•Heat 2 (Connor Smith Memorial Fun Run): Untimed and unscored, held in memory of Connor B. Smith. Open to all participants, especially those age 10 and under or those running slower than a 10-minute mile.

•Early Registration: $10.00 without a shirt or $15.00 with a shirt.

•Race Day Registration: Available online until 4:00 PM or in person until 6:00 PM at the Westminster Family Center (limited shirts may be available for $10).

•Start Line: 410 East Main Street, at the intersection of East Main Street and Fair Avenue.

•Finish Line: Near the Carroll County Public Library (Westminster Branch) at Main Street and Route 27.

•Packet Pick-up: Located at the Westminster Family Center (11 Longwell Avenue), which is near the finish line, approximately one mile from the start.

•April 6: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

•April 8: 12:00 PM – 6:30 PM

•Finish Medals: Provided to all finishers in both heats.

•Post-Race Treats: All finishers receive ice cream sandwiches at the Westminster Family Center.

•Awards: Cash awards and medals for top Heat 1 finishers; the Connor Smith Memorial Award for top male and female finishers age 10 and under in Heat 2.
