The 2026 Ballarat Marathon (Running Warehouse Ballarat Marathon) is a two-day road running festival held in Ballarat Central, Victoria. The event is scheduled for Saturday, 25 April and Sunday, 26 April 2026.

The main event hub, including the start and finish lines for most races, is located at the Ballarat Town Hall (225 Sturt St, Ballarat Central).

The festival includes multiple distances, with shorter races on Saturday and longer distances on Sunday.

Note: As of March 2026, the Marathon and Half Marathon are sold out, but entries remain available for the 10km, 5km, and Mile distances.

Key Event Details

•Course: Designed by Steve Moneghetti, the route is certified by AIMS and World Athletics. It features a scenic, flat path through the Ballarat CBD, Victoria Park, the Arch of Victory, and Lake Wendouree.

•Bib Collection: Located at Civic Hall (300/304 Mair St, Ballarat Central). Note that this is a separate location from the Town Hall.

•Bag Drop: Available at The Mining Exchange (16 Lydiard St North) on both days.

•Transport: A special shuttle bus service will operate from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne on Sunday morning.

•Cut-off Times: The Marathon and Half Marathon have a six-hour cut-off time.
