Boot Camp
Cannon Air Force Base (AFB) hosts recurring Boot Camp fitness classes as part of its community and squadron support programs. These events are typically held at the base fitness facilities and are designed for service members and their families to maintain physical readiness.
The 27th Force Support Squadron organizes regular Boot Camp sessions. These are generally high-intensity interval training (HIIT) or circuit-style workouts.
In addition to physical fitness, the Military & Family Readiness Center at Cannon AFB often holds "boot camp" style informational workshops for specific groups, such as transitioning service members or new spouses.
While these local events are called "Boot Camp," the official U.S. Air Force Basic Military Training (BMT) is not held at Cannon AFB. All Air Force recruits attend BMT at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas.
