The Byron Bay Bluesfest will not be held in Bilinga, QLD, or its usual location in Tyagarah, NSW, as the 2026 event has been officially cancelled.
While the festival was originally scheduled to run from 2 April to 5 April 2026 at the Byron Events Farm (Tyagarah, NSW), organisers announced in mid-March 2026 that the festival would not proceed due to rising production, logistics, and insurance costs, as well as a "challenging environment" for major live events. A liquidator has been appointed to manage financial matters and ticket refund claims.
