ʻAuana by Cirque du Soleil is the company’s first-ever resident production in Hawaiʻi, performing exclusively at the OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel in Honolulu. The show is a "Hawaiʻi-inspired" production that weaves traditional storytelling, hula, and local music with Cirque's signature high-flying acrobatics and comedy.
The performance takes place in a custom-designed, intimate 784-seat theater where every seat is intended to provide a clear view of the action. The narrative, titled ʻAuana (meaning "to wander" or "veer off the beaten path"), follows a journey through eight chapters of Hawaiian myths and legends, featuring a cast of 32 international and local performers.
