There are two primary "Dino Light" related experiences in or near Mississauga this season. One is a glow-in-the-dark theatrical performance titled Dino-Light, and the other is a massive outdoor light festival, illumi, which features a dinosaur-themed universe.
This is a glow-in-the-dark puppet show that uses EL wire technology to bring dinosaurs to life on stage. It tells the story of a scientist who creates a friendly dinosaur that wanders off into a world of glowing creatures.
Note: If you miss the Mississauga show, it is also touring nearby in Brampton on April 23 and Oakville on April 26, 2026.
While not exclusively a dinosaur event, illumi is a massive outdoor light festival that features a specific "universe" dedicated to giant automated dinosaurs.
If you are looking for a more interactive dinosaur experience, Jurassic Quest is scheduled to return to the International Centre from August 7–9, 2026, featuring life-sized animatronic dinosaurs and a dedicated "Glow Zone" with UV-light building blocks.
