DescriptionThis clinic teaches riders how to feel and maintain the "optimum time" for their cross-country level. Participants will learn to properly measure a course, determine the appropriate meters per minute (MPM) for their horse's stride, and practice adjusting pace in a fenced-in field. It is not a galloping clinic; riders should be comfortable trotting and cantering at their level.
MDCTA Member (Rider): $100.00.
Website & RegistrationPre-registration is required via StriderPro. Registration opens February 9, 2026, and closes at midnight on April 1, 2026.
EquipmentRiders should wear a cross-country watch or any stopwatch they can use while mounted.
