The Messy Masterpieces Paint Event is an interactive art activation led by artist Sonette vd Merwe at The Rand Show 2026 in Johannesburg. Important Details
•Dates: Thursday, 2 April – Monday, 6 April 2026.
•Location: Johannesburg Expo Centre, Nasrec.
•Johannesburg Expo Centre
•Daily Sessions: Three sessions are typically held each day at:
•Adults (Paint + Show Entry): R350.
•Pensioners & Kids under 12 (Paint + Show Entry): R320.
•Paint Session Only: R220 (requires a separate Rand Show entry ticket).
•Opening Day Special: Rand Show entry is just R50 on Thursday, 2 April.
•Punctuality: Sessions start exactly on time. Late arrivals of more than 15 minutes will forfeit their spot without a refund.
•Inclusions: All paint, brushes, and pre-drawn canvases are provided for the duration of the workshop.
