OUTspace Hobart is a free, confidential social and peer support group for LGBTIQA+ young people (aged 13–18) and those questioning their gender or sexuality. Facilitated by Working It Out (WIO) and The Link Youth Health Service, it offers a safe space for connection, creativity, and community.

What Happens at OUTspace?

•Frequency: Generally held on the first Monday of every month (excluding public holidays).
•Connect: Meet other LGBTIQA+ youth, share experiences, and discuss news and culture.
•Activities: Engage in board games, card games, video games, arts and crafts, or occasional movie screenings.
•Safety: The group uses "group agreements" and pronoun introductions to ensure a safe, affirming environment.
•Confidentiality: Attendance is private, and participants agree not to "out" each other in public.
