•Chile Pepper Institute Annual Spring Plant Sale: Thursday & Friday, April 16–17, 2026 (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM). Held at the NMSU Fabian Garcia Research Center, this event features a "sizzling selection" of peppers, tomatoes, herbs, flowers, and squash.

•NMSU Flower and Plant Sale: Wednesday, April 1, 2026 (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM). This sale takes place in the Skeen Hall Rotunda (945 College Drive). Note that this event accepts cash or check only.

•Borderlands Restoration Network Plant Delivery: Sunday, April 26, 2026 (11:00 AM – 12:00 PM). While not a traditional walk-up sale, you can order native plants online and pick them up at Skeen Hall.

•FloraFest 2026 (UTEP): Saturday, April 11, 2026 (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM). Although in nearby El Paso, this is a major regional native plant sale frequently attended by Las Cruces residents at the Centennial Museum and Chihuahuan Desert Gardens.

•Spring Gardening Expo: Saturday, March 21, 2026 (12:30 PM – 3:00 PM). Hosted by the Las Cruces Public Libraries at 200 E Picacho Ave, this event includes seed saving and community education.
