Symposium | Trevor Platt Science Foundation
The Trevor Platt Science Foundation (TPSF), in collaboration with partners, will host its second science symposium, the TREVOR-SAFARI Symposium 2026, in Kochi, Kerala. This event combines the foundation's core scientific mission with the third SAFARI (Societal Applications in Fisheries and Aquaculture using Remote sensing Imagery) symposium.
The TREVOR-SAFARI 2026 event includes pre-symposium training and field studies, spanning from late October to early November:
Focused on advancing aquatic sciences and supporting early-career researchers, the event will explore themes such as remote sensing for fisheries, climate resilience, sustainable resource management, and ecosystem health monitoring. Special sessions include a DBT-sponsored focus on aquatic ecosystem health and a Geo-Blue Planet working group meeting.
Registration and further information are available on the Trevor Platt Science Foundation website.
