Registration Details

•Dates: April 3 – 6, 2026.

•Location: The Spring Shopping Mall, Kuching.

•Prize Pool: A total of RM11,160.

•Format: Non-FIDE rated open tournaments using a 9-round Swiss System.

•Unity Blitz Tournament: April 3, 2026.

•Time Control: 5 minutes + 3 seconds increment.

•Standard Classical Tournament: April 4 – 5, 2026.

•Time Control: 30 minutes + 30 seconds increment.

•April 3 – 6: Chess Exhibition Showcase.

•April 4: Networking Dinner for players and supporters.

•April 5: Champion Sharing Session to gain insights from experienced players.

•April 6: Pathway to Chess Excellence (PACE) Workshop and training sessions.

•Fees: Early bird registration was RM90 (until March 20); the standard fee is RM110 thereafter.

•Categories: Special prizes are available for U18, U12, Veteran, Para, and "Best Kuching/Sarawak" players.

•School Recognition: The event is officially approved by the Ministry of Education, allowing students to earn co-curricular (PAJSK) points for participating.
