Vice Chancellors Forum
The Vice Chancellors Forum in Accra, Ghana, is a series of regular events organized by the Association of African Universities (AAU). These forums serve as a unique platform for leaders of African Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to share institutional breakthroughs and discuss innovations shaping the continent's future.
The forum is held frequently at the AAU House on Trinity Avenue in Accra, with sessions typically running from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm UTC.
In addition to the regular AAU forums, several related high-level academic leadership events are occurring in or near Accra this month:
While the AAU hosts continental forums, Vice-Chancellors Ghana (VCG) is the specific non-profit association for the executive heads of Ghana's 16 public universities. They frequently collaborate on national policy, research standards, and academic innovation conferences hosted at various member institutions, such as University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).
