The Kadamaian Ultra 2026 (KAR ULTRA 2026) is scheduled to take place from July 24 to July 26, 2026, in the Kadamaian Valley of Kota Belud, Sabah. This 10th-anniversary "Special Edition" event is a premier ultra-trail running challenge in Malaysia, featuring five race categories ranging from a 6km beginner run to a grueling 100-mile (160km) "Ultra of the Ultras" at the foot of Mount Kinabalu. 

The event is officially recognized by the UTMB Index, ITRA, and Asia Trail Master. 

Registration is managed via the CheckPointSpot KAR Ultra 2026 portal. 

The race follows a "Bring Your Own Cup/Bottle" concept; no disposable cups are provided at water stations. According to official event guidelines, required gear typically includes:

Deadline: Registration closes on May 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM (GMT+8), or once slots are filled.
Age Requirements:
100M/80KM: Minimum 21 years old.
35KM: Minimum 18 years old.
12KM/6KM: Minimum 10 years old (requires parental supervision).
Medical Policy: Participants with pre-existing heart conditions, hypertension, or serious arrhythmia are prohibited from entering.
Hydration system (bladder or bottles) with at least 1.5L capacity.
Functional headlamp with spare batteries (required for 100M, 80KM, and 35KM).
Emergency whistle and space blanket.
Mobile phone with the event's emergency contact number saved.
Basic first aid kit and personal medical supplies.
Course maps (GPX files) downloaded on a smartphone or watch.
Venue: The race hub is located in the Kadamaian region of Kota Belud, Sabah.
Arrival: Most international and domestic participants fly into Kota Kinabalu International Airport (BKI).
