Job Description
· Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine welding requirements and specifications· Perform various types of welding (e.g., MIG, TIG, arc welding) to assemble and repair metal parts and structures· Perform non-OEM fabrication services, including structural and metal fabrication· Conduct test pack manufacturing and related services· Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including materials used, work performed, and any issues encounteredWork collaboratively with other team members to complete projects on time and to the required standards· Inspect welded joints and structures to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, making necessary adjustments to achieve the desired outcome· Conduct tests and inspections of welded surfaces and structures to identify and correct defectsEnsure welds are free of porosity, cracks, and other imperfections· Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working conditionPerform routine maintenance and report any equipment malfunctions or safety issues · High school diploma or equivalent· Minimum of 3-5 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting· Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc welding)· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings· Strong attention to detail and precision· Understanding of welding safety practices and standards· Familiarity with welding equipment and tools· Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently
