Job Description
Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine project specifications and welding requirements.Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and aligning components for optimal weld quality and structural integrity.Operate and maintain a variety of welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welders, ensuring proper settings and functionality.Perform welding on diverse materials such as steel, aluminum, and alloys, adhering to strict quality standards and safety protocols. High school diploma or equivalent, with a vocational certificate in welding technology preferred.Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or equivalent training in welding.AWS (American Welding Society) certifications, such as Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or Certified Welding Educator (CWE) is a plus.Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in welding, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment.
