Job Description
A Sous Chef (Team Members Restaurant All Day Dining) is responsible for ensuring highquality nutritious and wellpresented meals are consistently delivered to our team members throughout all meal periods while managing food provisions assisting with team members queries and controlling costs.

What will I be doing
This role is vital in ensuring the success of the Team Members Restaurant with a focus on quality consistency and smooth backofhouse operations. The Sous Chef is also responsible for leading a dynamic kitchen team and ensure a welcoming and efficient dining experience that supports employee wellbeing and satisfaction. Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
• Lead and supervise daily kitchen operations for the Team Members Restaurant ensuring smooth and efficient service across breakfast lunch dinner coffee breaks and latenight snacks.
• Curate and oversee a diverse range of international and multicultural cuisines tailored to the various nationalities and preferences of our team members promoting inclusivity and cultural appreciation through daily menu offerings.
• Manage the overall kitchen operation including staff scheduling task delegation shift coordination and inventory control to ensure seamless daily service.
• Oversee the preparation production and presentation of meals that meet both nutritional and quality standards catering to diverse dietary requirements.
• Foster a positive respectful and productive kitchen environment for a multicultural team of Chefs Commis and Kitchen Stewards.
• Ensure dishes are prepared with consistency attention to taste presentation and portion control.
• Take ownership of designated sections ensuring high standards of mise en place cleanliness and timely service.
• Responsible for menu planning and rotating offerings that are seasonal costeffective and cater to team members preferences.
• Monitor food cost controls manage stock rotation and minimize waste to maintain budgeted food cost margins.
• Ensure all food hygiene practices HACCP protocols and local health regulations are strictly followed.
• Train mentor and develop junior team members providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Stores to maintain par stock levels and ensure timely ordering of highquality ingredients.
• Work closely with human resources team to receive feedback and continually enhance the team dining experience.
• Maintain a clean organized and hazardfree kitchen at all times upholding safety and sanitation standards.
