Job Description
• Welding repairs of piping, plant, equipment’s etc and fabrication of skip buckets
• SMAW welding for fabrications, pipe work etc.
• Welding for the manufacturing & modification of gangways, cradles and other yard related equipment’s and sheet metal jobs.
• Welding for modification of shiplift platform structure, STC platform structure, Grating and Rails.
• Responsible for the safe usage of company equipments / tools and adequate control on material wastage.
• Maintain good working relationship with workers, appointed foreman, supervisors and management.
• Perform duties of a Foreman as required / appointed for individual projects.
• Ensure materials are of required standard prior to use, reporting damages when required.
• Work within allocated timescale to meet department targets
• Attend any training for any activity required by the department.
• Maintain good housekeeping in all work areas.
