Job Description
The Heavy Truck Driver operates commercial vehicles to transport goods, materials, and equipment between locations. This role involves long-distance driving, vehicle maintenance, cargo handling, and strict compliance with federal and state transportation regulations

Primary Responsibilities Vehicle Operation
• Drive heavy trucks on local, UAE and cross border regional, or interstate routes, sometimes spanning several states
• Operate tractor-trailer combinations, semi-trucks, dump trucks, and specialized heavy vehicles
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking proper positioning
• Drive long distances while adhering to hours-of-service regulations and maintaining complete control over large commercial vehicles
• Use GPS equipment, maps, and navigation devices to plan routes and minimize fuel consumption
• Load and unload cargo using proper methods, chains, binders, straps, and blocks to secure loads for transport
• Verify load-related documentation (bills of lading) for completeness and accuracy
• Inspect loads to ensure cargo is secure and undamaged; check trailer conditions after unloading
• Record amount and type of cargo being delivered; obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods
