Job Description:

We are looking for a proficient and experienced Gypsum Carpenter with comprehensive knowledge of all types of gypsum work, including intricate false ceilings, decorative elements, and durable partitions. The ideal candidate will also possess foundational painting skills to ensure a seamless finish.

Responsibilities:
• Fabricate and install various types of false ceilings, including plain, decorative, suspended, and acoustic designs, ensuring precise alignment and finish.
• Construct and finish gypsum and cement board partitions for various spaces, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to specifications.
• Perform intricate gypsum decoration work, including cornices, mouldings, ceiling roses, and other ornamental features.
• Measure, cut, and shape gypsum boards and related materials accurately according to blueprints and design specifications.
• Prepare surfaces for installation, including cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary primers.
• Apply basic painting techniques, including preparing surfaces, masking, and applying coats, to achieve a smooth and finished look.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on existing gypsum structures.
• Operate and maintain a variety of carpentry tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all work is completed to high-quality standards, within project timelines, and in compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with site supervisors and other team members.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Gypsum Carpenter in the UAE, with a strong portfolio of false ceiling, gypsum partition, and decorative gypsum work.
• Demonstrated expertise in all types of false ceiling installations, including suspended, decorative, and specialized designs.
• Proficiency in constructing both gypsum and cement board partitions.
• Solid understanding of gypsum materials, tools, and installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches accurately.
• Basic to intermediate painting skills for surface preparation and finishing.
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring a high-quality finish on all projects.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work efficiently.
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Commitment to health and safety standards on site.

Working Hours:

9 hours per day, 1 day off per week.
