Job Description
Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components.Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to produce accurate welds.Set up and operate welding equipment, including power supplies, wire feeders, and gas regulators.Inspect finished welds visually and using measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications.Perform pre-weld and post-weld treatments such as grinding, cleaning, and heat treatment as required.Maintain welding equipment and report faults or maintenance needs to the supervisor.Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to meet production targets and deadlines. Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Proficiency in at least two of the following processes: MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), or Stick (SMAW).Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding procedure specifications (WPS).Demonstrated knowledge of metallurgy basics and welding joint configurations.Solid understanding of occupational health and safety standards applicable to welding.Previous experience in the ventilation fan industry or general manufacturing industry is highly regarded.Familiarity with fabricating fan housings, impellers, ducting, or related ventilation components is a strong advantage.
