SKAO - Electrician

We are seeking to engage an Electrician to support our Living Services team working on Ventia’s Square Kilometre Array Project (SKAO) in South Murchinson. Reporting to the Village Manager, this role will see you working on-site performing integrated facilities management. This will consist of preventative and reactive maintenance works on crib rooms, commercial kitchens and associated buildings on a 200 people camp.This is a full-time permanent role, working 12 hour days from 06:00am – 06:00pm on a 2:2 roster. During its more than 50-year lifetime, the SKAO Observatory will expand our understanding of the Universe and drive technological developments worldwide. The project is located at CSIRO's Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory, a legislated radio quiet zone in remote Western Australia, approximately 800kms north of Perth and 315kms northeast of Geraldton.
