Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with experience in restaurant chain / F&B operations to manage daily accounting activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, VAT compliance, and ERP system operations across multiple restaurant outlets.

Key Responsibilities1. Daily Financial Operations
β€’ Monitor daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, inventory, expenses, and cash flow
β€’ Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
β€’ Prepare daily sales and financial reports
β€’ Supervise cash handling and outlet revenue reconciliation

2. Account Reconciliation
β€’ Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash balances
β€’ Reconcile POS transactions, credit card settlements, and delivery platform sales (Talabat, Jahez, Keeta, etc.)
β€’ Verify inventory records and Cost of Goods Sold.
β€’ Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions

3. Financial Management & Reporting
β€’ Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
β€’ Support payroll processing and staff financial records
β€’ Prepare monthly financial statements and Profit & Loss reports
β€’ Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
β€’ Handle VAT filing and ensure Bahrain regulatory compliance
β€’ Coordinate with external auditors

4. ERP & System Management
β€’ Operate accounting functions using Zoho Books and Odoo ERP
β€’ Ensure accurate system reconciliation and reporting
β€’ Improve accounting workflows and system efficiency

5. Administrative & HR Support
β€’ Maintain financial filing and documentation systems
β€’ Support HR administration and payroll coordination
β€’ Work closely with operations and procurement teams
β€’ Assist management with financial analysis and decision-making

Requirements
β€’ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
β€’ 1–3 years accounting experience (Restaurant/F&B preferred)
β€’ Experience in multi-outlet accounting is an advantage
β€’ Knowledge of Zoho Books / Odoo ERP
β€’ Strong reconciliation and reporting skills
β€’ Knowledge of Bahrain VAT regulations
β€’ Proficiency in MS Excel
β€’ Local transfer candidates only
