Job Description
Barcelona Tavern is looking for driven, passionate and experienced individuals wanting to work in a fast paced & high standard restaurant. Duties:

- Assist in the preparation and cooking of various food items according to recipes and quality standards.

- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure a safe and clean kitchen environment.

- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.

- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and portioning them for use in recipes.

- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.

- Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes.

- Ensure that food storage areas are properly maintained and organized.

- Assist with inventory control and ordering supplies as needed.

Skills:

- Previous experience working as a line cook or prep cook in a restaurant or similar food service establishment.

- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and proper food handling procedures.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.

- Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with coworkers.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance.

- Basic math skills for recipe measurements and portioning.
