Become a vital part of the Silgan Plastics team in Edmonton, Alberta as a Full-Time Packer. Your attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring packaged products are ready for shipment.
As a Packer, you will operate efficiently within the packing department to support various facility functions. This role emphasizes high-quality standards, effective communication, and teamwork. Your responsibilities will include overseeing product flow, operating bagging machines, and performing quality checks at every stage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Load products efficiently from production lines
• Monitor and reset production lines as needed
• Ensure quality checks are performed on all items
• Operate semi-automatic bagging machinery
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace
Requirements:
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Strong focus on repetitive tasks under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Capacity to lift 10 lbs consistently
• Availability for rotating shift schedules
