As a welder, you will focus on fabricating custom prototypes according to customer specifications using welding machines. Key Responsibilities:
• Fabricate custom prototypes from engineering drawings
• Operate welding machines like gas and arc types
• Start up and monitor robotic welding production lines
• Maintain and repair welding equipment when necessary
• Adjust welding heads to match work specifications
Requirements:
• Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program
• Over three years of relevant work experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Knowledge of various welding processes and techniques
• Trade certification in Alberta preferred
