What you will do
β€’ Prevent shoplifter theft in a retail environment while providing customer service to clients, patrons and customers.
β€’ Patrol store aisles, monitor customers, and watch security camera footage.
β€’ Confront individuals you suspect of theft, who have unpaid merchandise.
β€’ Escort trespassers out of the client premises.
β€’ Perform arrests, detainments, and recover unpaid merchandise
β€’ Complete required documentation for security incidents such as theft and violations.
β€’ Escalate situation to law enforcement as required.
β€’ Respond to emergency situations appropriately in a timely manner.

The Ideal Candidate
β€’ A Valid Alberta Security License is required
β€’ Previous security experience in a retail environment
β€’ Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, is required
β€’ Willingness to attend meetings and improve skills
β€’ Ability to work without close supervision
β€’ A keen interest in asset protection and crime prevention
