Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for Security Guards based in Edmonton, AB. Security Guards will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through patrolling assigned areas, responding to security incidents, and ensuring the safety of people and property. Other duties include monitoring surveillance equipment, controlling access points, and delivering excellent customer service by assisting individuals and addressing inquiries professionally. Security Guards will also report any suspicious activities and work closely with local law enforcement when necessary.

Qualifications
• Strong Interpersonal and Customer Service skills to communicate effectively with clients, visitors, and team members.
• Knowledge of Physical Security and the ability to conduct property patrols and monitor surveillance systems.
• Experience in Personnel Security and Private Security to handle access control and respond to incidents effectively.
• Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Possession of a valid security license in Alberta and current first aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, for multiple shift options.
• Previous security experience is preferred but not required.
