Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various commercial and institutional spaces. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met. Responsibilities
• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to meet health and safety standards
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
• Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
• Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
• Ensure all areas are kept tidy and presentable throughout the shift
Qualifications
• Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is highly desirable
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, supplies, and equipment preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
• Reliable work ethic with punctuality and dependability
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times
