Job Description
• Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare and cook authentic Italian dishes according to restaurant standards, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
• Station Management: Oversee a specific section of the kitchen , ensuring all ingredients are prepared and available.
• Team Coordination: Supervise and train junior chefs and commis, providing guidance on food preparation techniques and kitchen procedures.
• Quality Control: Monitor portion sizes, food presentation, and freshness of ingredients to maintain high culinary standards.
• Inventory & Ordering: Assist in stock control, order ingredients as needed, and minimize waste through efficient ingredient usage.
• Hygiene & Safety: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, maintain cleanliness, and follow food safety guidelines (HACCP).
• Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef on new dishes, specials, and menu improvements.
