Welder/Fabricator (Ahmedabad)

Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.

- Perform MIG, TIG, ARC, or Gas welding as per job requirements.

- Cut, fit, and join metal parts using welding equipment.

- Inspect welds for quality, strength, and accuracy.

- Operate welding machines, grinders, and other fabrication tools.

- Repair damaged metal structures and equipment.

- Maintain welding equipment and perform routine maintenance.

- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.

- Ensure work is completed according to production schedules.

- Keep the work area clean and organized.

- Coordinate with supervisors and quality inspectors to meet production and quality standards.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of MIG, TIG, ARC, and Gas welding.

- Ability to read engineering drawings and welding symbols.

- Familiarity with welding tools and measuring instruments.

- Valuable understanding of fabrication processes.

- Strong attention to detail and quality.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualification

- ITI Welder or equivalent technical qualification.

- 1–5 years of welding experience in manufacturing or fabrication (preferred).
