As per the Public Authority for Manpower, the minimum wage for packing jobs in Kuwait is 230 KWD per month as of January 2026 for non-Kuwaiti workers in the private sector. Overtime must be paid at 1.25 times the hourly rate for hours exceeding 8 per day.

Foreign workers need a valid work permit issued by the Public Authority for Manpower and an employer-sponsored residency visa under Article 18 of the Kuwait Labor Law. The permit costs 10 KWD and must be renewed annually before expiry.

Packing jobs require a high school certificate or equivalent and at least 1 year of warehouse experience verified by previous employer letters. No university degree is mandatory but basic Arabic or English literacy is checked during medical fitness tests.

Submit an online application through the Public Authority for Manpower portal with passport, attested educational certificates, and a medical fitness report from an approved Kuwaiti clinic. Processing takes 15 working days with a 5 KWD application fee.
