Overview
Job Title: Welder

Location: Al-Kuwait, Kuwait

Salary: 1200 KWD/Month

Responsibilities

Assemble components using bolts, screws, clamps, rivets or other fasteners according to technical drawings

Prepare materials for welding by grinding down any imperfections or sharp edges on the material surfaces

Position the components together by using jigs or clamps prior to welding them together

Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to prescribed welding techniques

Monitor the welds to ensure they meet the required standards of quality

Inspect welds for accuracy and a complete fusion of materials prior to completion of projects

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience as a Welder

Ability to read technical drawings and specifications

Excellent knowledge of welding techniques and methods of metal fabrication

Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently without supervision

Ability to understand safety precautions in welding operations

Physically fit with manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination

Good communication skills in English (or Arabic if applicable)
