Job Description
Sous Chef

We are in search of a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at our high-end restaurant in Salalah. Our ideal candidate is passionate about food, has excellent culinary skills, and is able to work in a fast-paced environment. The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations and maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities
• Assist the Head Chef in creating menus and recipes that are innovative, delicious, and visually appealing
• Oversee food preparation and ensure dishes are cooked to perfection
• Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they follow proper food handling and safety procedures
• Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following sanitation guidelines
• Collaborate with the Head Chef on new menu items based on seasonal ingredients or customer feedback

Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a reputable restaurant
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task

Salary: $900 per month.
