Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues in welding equipment, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify the root cause of malfunctions.Perform preventative maintenance on welding machines, including routine inspections, cleaning, and part replacements to ensure optimal performance and longevity.Calibrate and adjust welding equipment to precise specifications, guaranteeing weld quality and adherence to industry standards.Repair and rebuild welding equipment components, such as power supplies, wire feeders, and control systems, demonstrating proficiency in electrical and mechanical repairs. Possesses a High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in welding technology or a related field is preferred.Holds relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or Certified Welding Educator (CWE), demonstrating expertise.Has a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the welding industry, showcasing practical knowledge of welding processes and equipment.Exhibits a strong understanding of various welding techniques, including SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW, coupled with practical experience.
