Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Cuisine Chef to join our team in Salalah This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for Indian cuisine and the ability to create delicious and authentic dishes As an Indian Cuisine Chef you will be responsible for creating menus ordering ingredients managing inventory and cooking dishes from scratch The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working as an Indian Cuisine Chef in a high volume restaurant or hotel environment Responsibilities - Create menus that showcase traditional Indian dishes as well as modern twists on classic recipes - Order ingredients and manage inventory to ensure freshness and availability - Prepare and cook dishes from scratch paying close attention to presentation and taste - Train junior chefs on proper techniques and recipes for Indian cuisine - Monitor food quality and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen - Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events or promotions featuring Indian cuisine Requirements - Minimum 3 years of experience working as an Indian Cuisine Chef in a high volume restaurant or hotel setting - Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian spices flavors and cooking techniques - Ability to create unique menu items while also keeping up with popular trends in Indian cuisine - Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure - Strong communication skills to effectively train junior chefs and collaborate with restaurant management - Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays as needed Salary We are offering a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this position City This position is based in Salalah known for its beautiful beaches historical sites and rich culture Located in southern Oman Salalah offers a unique blend of traditional Omani charm with modern amenities Note This job is open to all nationalities however we are specifically looking for candidates with experience in preparing authentic Indian cuisine Fluency in English is preferred but not required
