Barista / Cashier

A Barista / Cashier is a professional who makes and served beverages such as coffee, tea and specialty beverages. They are responsible for taking and preparing customer orders while paying attention to details.

Main Responsibilities:
• Welcome and greet customers. Make all our customers feel comfortable and let them know you’re there to personally take care of them.
• Maintain high standards of personal presentation, grooming and hygiene
• Ensuring all restaurant opening, mid-day, and closing procedures are abided by on a regular basis.
• Maintain clean service areas.
• Ensure clear and effective communication with the other team members regarding order requirements, timings and any low or out-of-stock items (85/86) to ensure we exceed customer service delivery expectations.
• Carefully review pending take-away/dine in-store/delivery items against orders to ensure accurate orders are dispatched to the correct customer.
• Have a detailed knowledge of the menu, combination recommendations and the pricing structure and be able to assist customers with their choices.
• Punching all the orders carefully without mistakes to avoid deletion (immediately after receiving the order)
• Responsible for all money inside the counter, receiving and giving, and it should be counted twice (Beginning and closing of the shift).
• Dispatching the items correctly and checking the quality and quantity too.
• Prepares hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea and smoothies.
• Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply and stocking coffee brewing equipment.
• Prepare beverages following the SOPs.
• Prepare daily/ weekly requisition request for bar items.
• Maintain cups and cutleries.
• Conduct monthly inventory for the bar items.
• Communicate customer feedback to supervisor/ manager and recommend new items.
