Job Description
Fabrication, welding, and finishing of the steel and stainless-steel structure; handrails, MS doors, and MS tubes accurately and qualitatively in accordance with the set safety standards. This involves polishing, levelling, alignment, and fitting of hinges/accessories to deliver quality and durable metal products.
• To cut, shape, and assemble steel and stainless-steel parts to engineering drawing specifications.
• Fabrication and assembly of stainless-steel handrails with accuracy. • Fabrication and installation of MS doors good levelling, proper alignment, application of hinges, and accessories.
• Operation of fabrication machinery like saw, press, roller.
• Quality finishing of the fabricated parts in terms of grinding, polishing, and deburring. Welding & Joining
• Perform MIG, TIG, arc welding, and electrode welding for MS tubes.
• Follow welding codes and standards to assure structural integrity in the weldment.
• Conduct quality checks in welds; correct any defective welds.
• Perform stainless steel polishing and finishing for the best appearance on the surface.
• Ensure all welded and fabricated parts meet aesthetic and functional criteria.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Check accuracy of measurements and dimensions before and after fabrication.
• Inspect finished products for quality and safety.
• Follow all workplace safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe handling of tools and materials.
