Job Description
About

The Manufacturing/Packaging Technician will be responsible for assisting in achieving production targets as per the production schedule, be accountable for setting up, operating, and cleaning manufacturing and packaging machinery in full compliance with cGMP requirements and standard operating procedures.

A the same time, support the implementation of systems and processes to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and overall quality of manufacturing operations.

Job Responsibilities
• Maintain cGMP and quality standards for manufacturing/packaging equipment and process areas.
• Ensure daily production output and quality meet production schedules and the agreed supply plan.
• Assist with setup, batch conversions, operations, cleaning, and troubleshooting of machinery and supporting systems on the production floor.
• Operate manufacturing/packaging equipment under controlled conditions according to standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance technicians to carry out preventive maintenance and calibration as per the planned schedule and daily checks to support operations.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and submit work requests for maintenance when necessary.
• Update and maintain all records and documentation related to manufacturing/packaging machinery and processes.
• Train staff on the correct operation and cleaning methods of machinery in compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Participate in investigations of major/minor failures or non-conformities of semi-finished or finished goods, ensuring corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence.
• Implement and practice good housekeeping and 5S principles in the designated work area.
• Actively contribute to the departmental preventive maintenance program.
• Participate in troubleshooting and rectification of machinery breakdowns within the assigned area or as directed by the superior.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by your superior.

Qualification and Experience
• A minimum of Diploma or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in production, machine setup, operation, or maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• A self-starter with a strong commitment to maintaining machinery in optimal condition at all times.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot process issues and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills for technical problems.
