About the Role We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Cleaning Caretaker to support the daily operations of our student care centre. This role plays a key part in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both students and staff, while also assisting with meal preparation and basic caregiving support. Key Responsibilities Cleaning & Maintenance Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all areas including classrooms, offices, corridors, and common spaces
Clean and disinfect toilets, pantry, and high-touch surfaces daily
Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
Wipe windows, glass panels, and furniture regularly
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and facilities
Pantry & Kitchen Support Ensure pantry area is clean, organised, and well-stocked
Refill supplies such as water, beverages, snacks, and utensils
Assist in simple meal preparation (e.g. portioning food)
Serve meals and snacks to students
Wash dishes and maintain kitchen hygiene
Stock Management Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies
Conduct stock-taking for pantry items and student snacks
Student Support Assist in serving lunch to students
Support basic caregiving needs such as helping students change clothes when required
