Pizza Restaurant Manager / Assistant Manager

JobScope:
β€’ Oversee daily operations from dough prep to oven to box – ensure every pizza meets recipe, temperature, and presentation standards.
β€’ Enforce all food safety and sanitation protocols (ServSafe standards, local health codes).
β€’ Manage inventory of cheese, sauce, toppings, dough, boxes, and smallwares; conduct weekly counts to reduce waste and theft.
β€’ Schedule and oversee equipment maintenance (ovens, proofers, walk-in coolers, dough rollers).
β€’ Ensure delivery drivers follow safety protocols, car topper use, and insurance requirements (if delivery offered).
β€’ Recruit, hire, train, and retain all store staff (shift leads, pizza makers, drivers, cashiers).
β€’ Create weekly schedules that control labor costs while ensuring adequate coverage for rushes.
