Job Description
Position : Welder - Up to $2,600 + OT - Seletar - ALL WELCOME!
Location : Seletar (Company Pick Up from Yishun MRT)
Working hours : 5 Days Work Week – Monday to Friday: 8.30AM to 6.00PM
Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $2,600 + OT + Performance Bonus + 14 Days Annual Leave
Duration : Permanent

Responsibilities:

Must be able to perform minimum 3G position with processes of GTAW & SMAW welding, grinding, flame cutting and other relevant fabrication activities in line with (English version) welding procedures, engineering drawing, welding symbols and shop routers, customer, and internal requirements, for welding and fit up.
Performs welding and fit up of the components to parts as well as sheet metal according to manufacturing procedure for different type of base material from high temperature alloys to high tensile steel and Stainless steel. (with Aluminum & Carbon Steel is a plus)
Knowledge in operation of welding equipment and tools with equipment care
Understanding of drawing dimensions and using tools (measuring tape, ruler, tri-square, fillet gauge, protractor, level gauge).

Requirements:

Trade Certificate in technical education preferably with knowledge in Basic Metal Material Group, Mathematical skill, Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding, Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas cutting (With Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding is a plus)
Certification in welding related courses (CW, CWI, CSWIP) will be added advantage
Possess track records of 3G welding qualifications levels in previous experience.
Able to interpret technical drawings with AWS (American Welding Society) and ISO standards.
Minimum 5 years of welding experience.
Able to comprehend instructions and communicate in English language.
