About the job

You will support the Swedish Food Market & Bistro Manager in delivering a great customer experience and ensuring smooth operations. This includes providing quality, affordable food in a welcoming environment, leading daily operations during shifts, and spending most of your time on the floor supporting customers and co-workers. You are responsible for maintaining high standards and keeping customers at the heart of everything you do.

Your assignment
• You support the Swedish Food Market & Bistro Manager in delivering an efficient and cost-effective operation while ensuring a great customer experience
• You have an overview of the store business plan and IKEA Food action plans, and support their implementation with the team
• You lead daily operations during shifts, ensuring smooth service and maintaining high standards in food quality, presentation, and cleanliness
• You train and coach co-workers to deliver service excellence, ensuring compliance with cash handling, food hygiene, and safety standards
• You handle customer feedback, resolve concerns, and take corrective actions to improve the overall experience
• You support cost control through stock management, materials planning, and preparation of reports for forecasting and inventory
• You plan work schedules and supervise co-workers to ensure efficient operations and team development
• You spend most of your time on the floor supporting customers and co-workers, including operational tasks such as cashiering, replenishment, and handling enquiries and complaints

Your profile
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced, high-volume F&B environment
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving skills, and business acumen
• Customer-focused with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to multitask and remain calm under pressure
• Capable of working independently with strong leadership abilities
• Demonstrates IKEA values, including teamwork and care for people and the planet
• Proficient in computer skills, including reporting and PowerPoint
• You can commit to working on AM/PM shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
