Job Description
Responsibilities: - Perform orbital welding on stainless steel tubing for UHP gas distribution systems in semiconductor fabs. - Read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and isometric diagrams. - Set up and operate orbital welding equipment (e.g., AMI, Swagelok, Polysoude). - Conduct weld inspections per industry standards to ensure zero contamination and defect-free welds. - Perform purge gas setup and ensure proper gas flow to maintain weld integrity. - Maintain welding logs and complete quality documentation (QA/QC reports). - Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to meet fabrication and installation timelines. - Comply with safety procedures and cleanroom protocols.
