GÜVENLİK GÖREVLİSİ

According to the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, the gross minimum wage for cleaning staff in Turkey is 25,500 Turkish Lira per month effective 1 January 2026, with net pay after deductions at 21,825 Turkish Lira. Overtime must be paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate for any hours above 45 per week.

The Ministry of Labour and Social Security sets the standard at 45 hours per week with a maximum of 7.5 hours daily for cleaning roles, plus 14 days of paid annual leave after the first year of employment increasing to 20 days after five years. Sick leave is covered up to 2 days per month with full pay.

The Ministry of Labour and Social Security requires all non-Turkish citizens to obtain a work permit before starting cleaning jobs, with applications processed within 30 days and fees set at 1,200 Turkish Lira for 2026. Permits are valid for one year initially and tied to a specific employer.

İŞKUR mandates submission of a valid ID, diploma or literacy certificate, health report from a public hospital, and criminal record certificate dated within the last 6 months for all cleaning staff applications. Online registration on the İŞKUR portal must be completed before in-person submission at provincial offices.
