As per the Çalışma ve Sosyal Güvenlik Bakanlığı, the net minimum wage for drivers in Turkey is 25,134 TL per month as of 1 January 2026. Drivers working over 45 hours per week receive 1.5 times the hourly rate for overtime. This rate applies to all commercial driver positions including truck and bus operators.

The Çalışma ve Sosyal Güvenlik Bakanlığı requires a valid SRC-2 or SRC-4 certificate plus a Class C or D driving license for all commercial driver roles. Applicants must also hold a psychotechnical evaluation report dated within the last 5 years. No application is accepted without these documents.

Drivers in Turkey are limited to 45 hours per week with mandatory 11 consecutive hours of rest between shifts according to the 2026 labor rules. Annual paid leave starts at 14 days after one year of service and rises to 20 days after five years. Employers must record all driving hours in the official e-Devlet system.

Applicants must upload their SRC certificate, driving license, health report, and criminal record extract via the e-Devlet portal or directly to the employer. The İşkur registration number and a recent passport photo are also required. Incomplete applications are rejected within 7 days.
