Responsibilities:
• Stress the need to prioritize road safety while driving tractor-trailers.
• It is crucial to carry out extensive pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to confirm its roadworthiness.
• Develop streamlined routes to enhance efficiency and ensure deliveries are made on schedule.
• Ensure compliance with guidelines when it comes to the handling and packaging of items to secure their transport effectively.
• Ensure transparent and consistent communication with both dispatchers and customers during the delivery procedure.
• Maintain accurate logs of working hours and standard vehicle maintenance procedures.
• Abide by the safety protocols mandated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to safeguard workers and merchandise during transport.
• Speedily report any vehicle troubles, occurrences, or violations to uphold compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:
• A legitimate Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) is vital.
• Clean driving record.
• Satisfying the DOT's conditions for physical assessments and drug tests.
• Mastery in managing time effectively and coordinating tasks efficiently.
• Adept in securely and swiftly transporting heavy and voluminous objects.
• Displays exceptional customer service capabilities and the knack for developing long-lasting client ties.
• Focus on ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, with a commitment to promptly report incidents.

Experience Levels Accepted:
• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• Tailored for entry-level commercial drivers, the 12-week training course is designed to accelerate the learning process through a well-organized curriculum. Experience levels of participants can vary from as little as three months to over five years in the industry

Preferred Experience:
• Proficient in driving and managing diverse trailer options, such as dry van, reefer, flatbed, and tanker trailers.
• Competence in navigating multiple units, intermodal transfers, and the transportation of automobiles.
• Experienced in handling household goods and specialized shipments.
