Duties
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment on various construction sites
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and system designs
• Perform welding and assembly tasks related to plumbing components and piping systems
• Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols
• Assist with remodeling projects by integrating plumbing systems into existing structures and performing carpentry tasks as needed
• Use basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting plumbing issues effectively
• Support HVAC system installations where mechanical knowledge applies, ensuring optimal operation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units
Qualifications
• Proven experience in construction plumbing or related fields with hands-on work on construction sites
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of HVAC systems and schematics is a plus
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting purposes
• Valid commercial driver’s license or ability to obtain one is preferred
• Handyman experience or remodeling background is advantageous but not required
