As a Security Officer Visitor Check In in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor activity from a stationary post, and support day-to-day security-related operations with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor lobby and reception areas, verify identification and/or credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate entry logs in support of security-related operations.
• Answer phones, greet guests, and direct deliveries, contractors, and/or appointments according to location procedures within a manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to supervisors, client contacts, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Observe front desk activity and surrounding entry points to help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or other unusual activity while maintaining a professional presence.
Minimum Requirements:
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
